in the western United States since 1981. We are based in southwestern Colorado

MAPL Project. This
web site presents a popular report on our excavation project in Southwestern
Colorado and Northwestern New Mexico. In addition to investigating web
pages about the sites excavated, you can download copies of the individual
reports. Included in the popular report are many photographs and drawings
as well as a summary of the prehistory of the area from the Archaic to
the Navajo periods. |

Southwestern Colorado Museum is a web-based version of our educational game, A Corner in Time.
A Corner in Time was developed as
a teaching tool for elementary and secondary schools to teach the history and prehistory of Montezuma and Dolores Counties, Southwestern Colorado. It contains hundreds of photographs, illustrations, and pages describing the region. It's
original creation was made possible with grants from the Colorado Historic Fund
and the Williams Energy Company. |
