Kivas were located on
two sites: one
(5MT5498) in the Mesa
Verde area, and the
other (LA46147) in the
Aztec area.
The kivas at 5MT5498
were key-hole shaped
and contained four
masonry pilasters. The
kiva at LA46147 was cir-
cular in shape and con-
tained six adobe-covered
horizontal log pilasters.
All the kivas contained
standard features such
as hearths, ash pits and
sipapus. |
