Introduction
A total of 16 Late Anasazi Pueblo II and Pueblo III sites were found along the MAPL pipeline corridor in
northwestern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. Most of the 8 sites in Colorado were permanent
residences, and several contained substantial structures. In contrast, most of the 8 sites in New Mexico
were temporary residences, locations or field camps, and only one contained a substantial structure.
