Several significant technological
changes were implemented
throughout the eastern and western
areas during the Pueblo I period.
These included refinements in
ceramic manufacture, the more
effective use of ground stone, and
improved farming techniques.
Harder pastes and better paints and
slips were introduced into ceramic
production, while large, two-hand
manos, trough metates, and milling
bins enabled corn to be processed
more efficiently. |
