Extra-Regional Relationships
Almost all of the Navajo sites had non-local materials on them. Most of these items are believed to have
originated to the south of the Dinetah. Obsidian was identified as originating from the San Francisco and
Jemez Mountains, while sandstone used in the manufacture of a pendant was sourced as originating in
the Datil Mountains.
